Hello gentle readers!
As some of you know, last year I spent time learning how to kayak in big water, drive a dogsled, and take an epic cross-country trip on my motorcycle. Well, I’m looking for some good ideas on what to do next.
But, there’s a catch.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, I have had a very bumpy year and ended up in a new job where I won’t have vacation for… well, kind of a long time.
So, my adventures will need to be close to home for awhile, on the weekends… and for those who don’t know, that’s my home state of Wisconsin.
Do you know of any interesting things to see, do and/or experience in Wisconsin? If so, I want to hear about it. Nothing is out of the question, I will consider everything and anything in hopes it will lead to a lot of fun, adventure, and some neat columns for you to read about.
You can post your ideas at the end of this article, or email them to ladylovinherlife@gmail.com. I look forward to hearing what you have in mind! And thanks for helping me out.
Cheers!
Paula
Hiking and camping at Devil’s Lake in Baraboo. Not as epic as a cross country motorcycle ride, but still an adventure. Or just road trip to anyplace in Wisconsin you’ve never been, get lost and see what you can find over a weekend.

Thanks for responding, Angie! Sounds like a neat idea. I’ve been to Devil’s Lake only once. Roaming sounds very romantic, but I usually need a basic plan, or I get in trouble. One time I actually ran out of road, and that was after checking the route on Google. Go figure!
